Most Used Skincare of 2019

Skincare can be hard and very daunting with all the options out there!!! I am very picky about what I use on my skin but once I love something that product can take all my money. I definitely stepped outside my comfort zone a bit last year and tried more products to really step up my skincare regimen and I’m really happy with the results! In no particular order here is my list of skincare favorites from 2019.

LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask $33 Sephora
Loved using this when my skin felt a little dry, especially in winter! But its honestly just a great pick me up for your face and don’t be afraid to put a good layer on.

LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask $26 Sephora
Loved this one so much might have also used it as a regular lip balm (although I would apply a very little amount) Honestly it feels so good on your lips and keeps them hydrated all night long, waking up to super soft lips.

NEUTROGENA Deep Moisturizing Hydro SPF 20 $19.99 Shoppers Drugmart
I love a good face cream and this one was great during winter because it was thick enough to keep my face from getting dry but not too thick that it bothered my oily skin, and even in winter you need SPF.

FRESH Sugar Lip Polish $32 Sephora
This is definitely a splurge item but if you don’t want to DIY your own scrub this one is perfect and leaves your lips feeling buttery soft.

THAYERS Witch Hazel Lemon $13-$16 Walmart or Local Health Store
Love this as an alternative to the normal toners you would get at the drug store. I know a lot of people love this in the Rose Petal but I find the Lemon to be so refreshing. To apply semi-soak a cotton pad and gently wipe all over my face.

PIXIE Mud Mask $20 Shoppers Drugmart
I have been using this for at least 2 years now and it never fails, what I love most is that it can be used as spot treatment as well.

CERE VE Hydrating Cleanser $16.99 Shoppers Drugmart
I use this twice a day every day and it’s so great for my oily skin without leaving it feeling stripped.

CERE VE Skin Renewing Day Cream SPF 30 $22.99 Shoppers Drugmart
Love using this in the summer when its boiling hot out, its drys down without actually drying your skin and is perfect for putting on in a rush and stepping out into the heat.

CERE VE Hydrating Micellar Water $16.99 Shoppers Drugmart
I use this as my go to makeup remover! Just soak up a cotton pad and wipe all my makeup away, it’s also really good if you want to refresh your skin during the day when you’re not wearing makeup.

THE ORDINARY Retinol $7.50 Deciem
I started using this in the summer to help smooth my skin and this bottle lasts forever! I started by only using 1 drop once a week then as my skin got used to it (I have pretty tough skin, not too sensitive) I now use 1-2 drops twice a week.

THE ORDINARY Vitamin C $8.80 Deciem
I use this 2-3 times a week usually in combination with the Retinol (applying it after) and I use about a fingernail sized amount on my entire face. It is a little tingly on the skin so once it’s all soaked in I put my moisturizer over top to calm my skin.

THE SOLUTION Sheetmasks $3.60 Faceshop
Cant go wrong with some good sheet masks and if you time it properly (which I did) you can get their buy 10 get 10 free deal which keeps me stocked for a while.
